Leading the industry call to help us make that powerful difference was Irvine Sellar, Founder and Chairman of Sellar Property Group, who sadly died on 26 February. His backing was instrumental in getting our campaign for industry support off the ground.

This is what he and others told us about the project:

“We are proud to be part of this incredibly worthwhile and needed build project and look forward to seeing the fruition of all the team’s input.”

Irvine Sellar, Sellar Property Group Founder and Chairman

“This project is a unique opportunity for us to roll up our sleeves and put what we know to work for a very worthy cause. From the many bricks laid in the course of a long career – this building will be among those we are most proud of.”

Jonathan Rose, MD, Pears Property

“Every JLL UK team member on this project will tell you it’s uplifting work. Building this children’s hospice is often the most rewarding part of my day. The level of industry commitment and engagement to date has been astonishing.”

Ian Greenhalgh, Lead Director – Strategic Asset Management JLL UK

London’s property giants including JLL UK, Pears Property, Sellar Property and Erith Demolition have contributed £1 million in pro bono support for the construction of our vital children’s hospice. Now we are asking the rest of the industry to get on-board and help us finish the job.

Central and north London and Hertsmere are not served by a children’s hospice building; and the NHS doesn’t fund children’s hospice provision. But thanks to community support over many years, Noah’s Ark is ready to start constructing just such a building.

We’re looking to reduce costs – literally from floor to ceiling. We’re contacting brick manufacturers for reduced-rate supplies, along with suppliers of ironmongery, doors, underfloor heating systems, roof tiles and plumbing.
